What kind of evidence are you searching for?
Are you digging up past mistakes, reliving them over and over and uncovering proof in your imperfections? Or are you comparing yourself, your life and your art to other’s, in an attempt to further that case.
We can feed that case, that belief and uncover all the evidence we need (and then some) to believe we’re not enough or that our art is not enough. It can be deceptive, to the point that we can be busy compiling the evidence, so caught up in it that we don’t even realize we’re doing it.
Or we can choose to look for a different kind of evidence. One that requires less digging and more letting go. Evidence that does not need comparison, but reminders. Reminders that we and what we create is enough
We’re messy, imperfect and enough.
